It holds the Texas state record for largemouth bass, which weighed in at 18.18 lbs. The lake produced more bass over 13 lbs than any other lake in the country for many years running. Rolling Fork RV Park sits directly on Lake Fork, giving guests immediate access to some of the finest bass fishing in North America.

  • Lake Fork is famous above all for trophy largemouth bass, but the lake also holds excellent populations of crappie, catfish (flathead and blue), white bass, and sunfish. Spring and fall are peak seasons for largemouth bass, while crappie fishing is outstanding through the winter months. Rolling Fork guests have boat ramp access and a fishing pier for shore fishing as well.

  • Yes! Rolling Fork RV Park has a private boat ramp exclusively for park guests, giving you direct access to Lake Fork from your site. No need to haul your boat to a public ramp — just back in and launch. The park also has a fishing pier for guests who prefer to fish from shore.

  • Yes. All anglers fishing Lake Fork are required to have a valid Texas fishing license, issued by Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD). Licenses can be purchased online at tpwd.texas.gov or at local bait and tackle shops. Lake Fork also has a special Catch & Release program for trophy bass over 18 inches.

  • Spring (March through May) is considered the prime season for trophy largemouth bass at Lake Fork, as fish move shallow to spawn and are actively feeding. Fall (September through November) is another excellent window. Summer fishing can be productive early in the morning and late evening. Winter offers great crappie and catfish fishing. Rolling Fork is open year-round, so whenever you're ready, we have a spot for you.

  • Yes — Lake Fork hosts numerous bass fishing tournaments throughout the year, including the Skeeter Big Bass Splash (one of the world's largest amateur bass tournaments) and the Sealy Bass Tournament, among many others. Rolling Fork RV Park is an ideal base camp for tournament anglers with our private boat ramp, full hookup sites, and direct lake access.
